What they need

Do you want to help make one of the world's leading organizations more secure? Are you looking for a role where you take ownership of PwC's Zero Trust program and translate it into real impact in the Netherlands?

In this role you drive the local implementation of PwC's global cybersecurity strategy, working at the heart of the CISO office. You coordinate across IT teams, Information Managers, and both global and local stakeholders, and you bring structure to complex security programs. It's a role where content, delivery, and continuous improvement come together.

This Is What You'll Do You're part of the CISO office, a team where security expertise meets delivery. You'll work on meaningful, high-impact security programs. As the Zero Trust Program Manager, you own the implementation and ongoing management of PwC's global Zero Trust program within the Netherlands, translating global strategy into local projects and technology initiatives. You act as the CISO office's point of contact for program-related communication, keep delivery on track across teams, and continuously improve how the team works. You engage credibly with architects, engineers, and senior stakeholders alike.

  • You track program progress, dependencies, risks, and blockers, ensuring milestones are met and escalating early where global or local decisions are required, and you provide structured reporting to the CISO and senior stakeholders on Zero Trust maturity, adoption, and risks;
  • You build, maintain, and execute local project plans that underpin global security programs, including scope, timelines, resourcing, dependencies, and success criteria;
  • You coordinate delivery across the CISO office, IT project teams, and lines of service Information Managers, keeping plans current and decisions documented, and you manage risks, issues, and changes proactively;
  • You create, maintain, and prioritize all service and project demands, ensuring a single, transparent pipeline with business stakeholders;
  • You act as the internal scrum master for the CISO office, facilitating sprint planning, stand-ups, and team meetings, own and improve the kanban boards, and keep the CISO dashboard clear and reliable.
  • You recognize yourself in this
  • You're a structured, proactive connector who takes ownership and works with a team-first mindset. You align competing interests across global and local, senior and junior stakeholders without losing delivery momentum. Furthermore, you have:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in security or IT project and portfolio management, with demonstrable ownership of cybersecurity projects from initiation through to operational handover;
  • Hands-on experience managing cybersecurity projects and programs;
  • Solid understanding of security foundations, including identity and access management, Zero Trust principles, network and endpoint security, data protection, and vulnerability and risk management;
  • Strong working knowledge of kanban management, with executive reporting and data visualization skills;
  • Fluent in English, in both speaking and writing.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with security and resilience frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIS2, and NIST.
  • Fluency in Dutch.
