Associate WSH Trainer

Our company is looking for Associate WSH trainers to support in our increased demand of our WSH trainings, especially for the course 'Supervise Manufacturing Work for WSH (SMFWSH)' conducted in Mandarin.

Below are the pre-requisites to be registered as qualifed trainer for the above-mentioned course:

Trainer and Assessor Requirements – Supervise Manufacturing Work for WSH (BISH Course)

1.⁠ ⁠Domain Qualification

• ⁠ ⁠The trainer/assessor must possess a WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or an equivalent qualification.

• ⁠ ⁠The trainer/assessor must demonstrate current competency in the relevant Competency Unit. Current competency will usually be demonstrated through the completion of a relevant technical or vocational qualification.

• ⁠ ⁠The trainer must have successfully completed the Supervise Manufacturing Work for WSH course.

• ⁠ ⁠The trainer/assessor must have successfully completed the Code of Ethics course.

2.⁠ ⁠Domain Work Experience

• ⁠ ⁠The trainer/assessor must have at least five (5) years of WSH experience.

• ⁠ ⁠The trainer/assessor must be able to demonstrate that they keep up to date with current industry practices.

3.⁠ ⁠WSQ Trainer/Assessor Pedagogic Requirements

• ⁠ ⁠The trainer/assessor must be certified competent and hold one of the following qualifications:

• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA);

• Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP);

• Diploma in Adult Continuing Education (DACE); or

• Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP).

• ⁠ ⁠All trainers/adult educators are required to complete a minimum of ten (10) hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) annually by attending courses conducted by appointed training providers. For more information, refer to the CPD Programme for WSH Trainers on the WSH Council website at www.wshc.sg.

• ⁠ ⁠The trainer conducting the course must not act as the assessor for the same learners during the assessment.
