Location: Wild Paradise Restaurant
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Chef to join our busy restaurant team.
Requirements
NZQA/NVQ Level 3 Professional Cookery qualification OR at least 3 years of relevant chef experience*
Previous commercial kitchen experience
Good knowledge of food preparation and cooking
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
About the role
Prepare and cook food to a high standard
Maintain consistent taste, quality and presentation
Prepare ingredients and manage kitchen prep
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
Work as part of a team and support other kitchen staff
Assist with menu preparation and kitchen operations
What we offer
Competitive hourly rate of NZ$25.00-NZ$30.00
Minimum of 30 hours of work each week
