Roles & Responsibilities

• ⁠ ⁠Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.

• ⁠ ⁠Ensure consistent food quality, taste, presentation, and portioning.

• ⁠ ⁠Carry out daily food preparation and mise en place before service.

• ⁠ ⁠Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.

• ⁠ ⁠Follow food safety, hygiene, and proper food storage procedures.

• ⁠ ⁠Check ingredients and ensure proper FIFO and stock rotation.

• ⁠ ⁠Minimise food wastage and report low stock or quality issues.

• ⁠ ⁠Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies.

• ⁠ ⁠Clean kitchen equipment and utensils after use.

• ⁠ ⁠Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

• ⁠ ⁠Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.

• ⁠ ⁠Carry out other kitchen duties assigned by the Head Chef or management.

Requirements

• ⁠ ⁠Previous kitchen/cooking experience is preferred.

• ⁠ ⁠Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.

• ⁠ ⁠Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• ⁠ ⁠Good teamwork and positive working attitude.

• ⁠ ⁠Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• ⁠ ⁠Experience in Asian, local or Peranakan cuisine is an advantage.
