Electrical Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• ⁠ ⁠Manage and supervise all electrical works on site to ensure progress, quality, and safety compliance.

• ⁠ ⁠Assist the Project Manager in electrical planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• ⁠ ⁠Review electrical drawings and specifications; coordinate design revisions and resolve site technical issues.

• ⁠ ⁠Supervise installation of power distribution systems, transformers, generators, lighting systems, grounding, and lightning protection systems.

• ⁠ ⁠Ensure subcontractors’ electrical works comply with approved drawings, standards, and safety regulations.

• ⁠ ⁠Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.

• ⁠ ⁠Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.

• ⁠ ⁠Monitor material approvals, cost control, and progress reporting.

• ⁠ ⁠Liaise with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities for inspections and approvals.

• ⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with international standards and local electrical regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• ⁠ ⁠Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution.

• ⁠ ⁠Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial facilities, shipyards, or port/coastal projects.

• ⁠ ⁠Proficient in engineering software (AutoCAD, ETAP, Dialux, Revit MEP, etc.).

• ⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of industrial power systems and marine electrical installations.

• ⁠ ⁠Excellent command of English (additional local language is an advantage).

• ⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• ⁠ ⁠Strong communication and coordination skills with attention to detail.

• ⁠ ⁠Valid driving license.

• ⁠ ⁠No restrictions on domestic and international travel.
