What they need
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, monitor, and maintain Ubiquiti UniFi network equipment and services.Manage and support Mac devices, including administration through JAMF.
- Manage and support Windows client devices using Microsoft Active Directory.
- Administer NAS storage and shared folders, including user access and file-share permissions.
- Support network infrastructure, including routing, VLANs, switching, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Install, terminate, label, patch, and test network cabling.
- Use LAN testers and tone probes to trace and verify network cabling.
- Set up and maintain wireless access points.
- Support IP telephony systems and troubleshoot phone connectivity.
- Maintain access control systems and user access configurations.
- Manage cloud-based antivirus and endpoint protection.
- Support IP cameras, NVR systems, and related network connections.
- Monitor network and device performance, investigate faults, and document solutions.
- Coordinate with production and technical teams to keep studio systems and services operating reliably.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in a network engineer, IT support, or systems administration role.
- Strong practical knowledge of Ubiquiti UniFi.
- Experience managing Mac devices with JAMF.
- Experience managing Windows devices and users with Microsoft Active Directory.
- Working knowledge of NAS storage, shared folders, and permissions.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking, routing, VLANs, and wireless access points.
- Experience with network cabling, termination, patching, and cable testing.
- Familiarity with IP telephony, access control, cloud antivirus, IP cameras, and NVR systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Able to work independently and support a busy production environment.
