Project Accountant

Project Accountant - Factory setup

We are looking for a Project Accountant for our new factory setup project in Jodhpur. The candidate will be responsible for managing project-related accounts, contractor/vendor bills, project expenses, costing and MIS reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

⁠ ⁠Check and verify civil, electrical, interior and other contractor bills

⁠ ⁠Verify bills against BOQ, work orders, quotations and actual work completed

⁠ ⁠Maintain contractor and vendor payment records

⁠ ⁠Track project expenses, advances, retention and pending payments

⁠ ⁠Prepare project budget vs actual cost reports

⁠ ⁠Maintain purchase and expense records related to the factory project

⁠ ⁠Coordinate with contractors, vendors and site team for bill verification

⁠ ⁠Track extra work/variation orders and their financial impact

⁠ ⁠Maintain proper documentation of invoices, bills and payment approvals

⁠ ⁠Prepare daily/weekly/monthly project MIS

⁠ ⁠Maintain project-related data and reports in Advanced Excel

⁠ ⁠Assist management in monitoring overall project cost and expenditure

⁠ ⁠Coordinate with CA/accounts team whenever required

Required Skills

⁠ ⁠Advanced Excel is mandatory

⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of project accounting and bill verification

⁠ ⁠Good understanding of BOQ, work orders and contractor billing

⁠ ⁠Good knowledge of Tally/ERP/accounting software

⁠ ⁠Good analytical and reconciliation skills

⁠ ⁠Strong follow-up and documentation skills

⁠ ⁠Experience in construction/factory/project accounting will be preferred

Qualification & Experience

⁠ ⁠B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent

⁠ ⁠2–5 years of relevant experience

⁠ ⁠Candidates with construction/project billing experience preferred

Salary: ₹20000per month, depending on experience and skills.
