Trainee Sales Assistant

Thinking of a role in sales but not sure where to start?

We are looking for a Trainee Sales Assistant to join our sales team.

This is an entry-level position, so previous sales experience is not required. Full training and ongoing coaching will be provided. You will work at approved retail and promotional venues, speaking directly with members of the public and representing the products and services of our clients.

What you’ll be doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• ⁠ ⁠Speaking with customers at retail and promotional venues
• ⁠ ⁠Introducing and explaining the products and services we represent
• ⁠ ⁠Answering customer questions
• ⁠ ⁠Completing customer applications and sales accurately
• ⁠ ⁠Providing professional customer service
• ⁠ ⁠Working towards individual and team sales targets
• ⁠ ⁠Attending sales training and coaching sessions
• ⁠ ⁠Following company and client compliance procedures

No previous sales experience is required.

New starters receive training covering:

• ⁠ ⁠Customer communication
• ⁠ ⁠Product knowledge
• ⁠ ⁠Sales techniques
• ⁠ ⁠Customer service
• ⁠ ⁠Compliance procedures
• ⁠ ⁠Handling customer questions
• ⁠ ⁠Completing sales correctly
• Ongoing coaching is provided as you develop within the role.

Previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service or promotions may be useful but is not required.

Pay: £2,200.00-£2,500.00 per month
