• Test Execution and Method Development Perform tests on materials or components in optical, mechanical, chemical, reliability, and durability aspects according to internal and external customer requirements, including chemical composition analysis, corrosion testing, solvent resistance, thermal stability evaluation, etc.; conduct glass mixture formulation design and raw material pretreatment, operate experimental melting furnaces, and optimize related process parameters; develop specialized test fixtures, jigs, and systems based on testing needs, and optimize measurement methods and inspection processes to enhance testing accuracy and efficiency.
• Data Analysis and Root Cause Identification Systematically analyze raw test data, utilize statistical tools and failure analysis methods to identify the root causes of material failures, performance deviations, and process abnormalities, particularly focusing on typical defect causes in glass performance indicators and the glass melting process.
• Project Collaboration and Report Delivery Collaborate closely with application engineers, sales teams, and cross-functional teams to arrange test plans, determine priorities, and clarify technical specifications; prepare and deliver various analysis and test reports, including chemical test reports and glass melting process records, in accordance with company templates and approval processes.
• Equipment Maintenance and Calibration Management Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of testing equipment; organize and track equipment calibration to ensure chemical experimental equipment and glass melting devices meet accuracy and safety requirements; implement company equipment maintenance policies and laboratory 5S management standards.
• Third-Party Testing Coordination Identify testing needs that cannot be covered by internal resources; coordinate and manage third-party laboratory collaboration projects to ensure external testing complies with method and standard requirements, particularly in chemical analysis and high-precision glass performance testing.
• Testing Capability Transfer Transfer test methods, measurement techniques, and related process knowledge to customers, including guidance on glass mixture processes and training on melting operations, to help customers establish internal testing and process control capabilities.
• Knowledge Management and Documentation Retrieve industry information from technical literature, patents, conference materials, and customer exchanges to support test method and process development tasks; prepare technical documents, test reports, and presentation materials to facilitate the transition of preliminary technical achievements into actual development stages.
• Compliance with Company Policies Strictly adhere to company policies, including Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), equipment maintenance, laboratory 5S, and compliance requirements; assume personal responsibility in accordance with departmental guidelines.

Experience and Competencies 所需的经验和能力

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with at least two years of relevant work experience. Candidates with an educational or professional background in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering are preferred.
• Solid foundation in optics, mechanics, materials, or chemical engineering, with a focus on areas such as durability design, testing principles, and chemical material analysis.
• Hands-on experience as a test engineer, including test planning, method development, execution and inspection, root cause analysis, data processing, and report writing. Experience in chemical-related testing and evaluation is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English, strong coordination and presentation abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with technical and cross-functional teams.
