Canteen Chef/Helper/Commis Cook

岗位职责（Job Responsibilities）：

• 餐食准备与烹饪：
• 依据每日菜单计划，准备与烹饪早、中、晚餐，确保餐食新鲜、卫生、美味；
• 熟练处理100人份的大宗食材备料与分量控制，避免浪费。
• 食材管理：
• 负责每日所需原材料的领取、验收、储存与使用；
• 记录库存与需求，提前申报食材采购计划。
• 厨房清洁与食品安全：
• 严格遵守食品安全与卫生规范（如：洗涤流程、温度控制、交叉污染防范）；
• 每日清洁工作台、炉具、炊具及冰箱，保持厨房整洁有序。
• 菜单规划协助：
• 根据季节、预算与员工口味建议食谱调整；
• 协助营养均衡搭配，提升员工满意度。
• 协作与团队配合：
• 与厨房助手、洗碗工良好配合，保障餐食准时供应；
• 指导新员工或厨房帮工的基本操作技能与卫生要求。

任职资格（Job Requirements）：

• 学历与经验：
• 至少2年大型食堂、工厂餐厅或团餐经验，熟悉多人份餐饮操作流程。
• 技能要求：
• 熟练掌握中式或基本烹饪技艺（可增设：会煮素食优先）；
• 熟悉大锅饭操作，具备良好的时间管理能力。
• 个人素质：
• 有责任心、勤劳耐心，具团队合作精神；
• 注重卫生，有良好职业操守。

工作时间与薪资福利：

• 工作时间： 每周5天制，6am-4pm；
• 薪资福利： 2400-4000可面议，提供工作餐；
• 其他福利： 可提供住宿（如适用）、13薪、，视表现给予绩效奖金医疗福利、年假等（依公司政策）。

Job Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation & Cooking
• Prepare and cook daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to the planned menu.
• Ensure all meals are fresh, hygienic, and prepared in a timely manner.
• Handle bulk ingredient preparation and portion control for approximately 100 people.
• Minimize food waste through proper planning and accurate measurement.
• Ingredient & Inventory Management
• Receive, verify, store, and use daily raw materials and ingredients.
• Maintain clear records of stock levels and consumption.
• Submit purchase requests in advance to avoid shortages.
• Kitchen Hygiene & Food Safety
• Comply strictly with food hygiene, handling, and safety standards (including proper cleaning processes, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention).
• Ensure daily cleaning of all work surfaces, kitchen equipment, stoves, and refrigerators.
• Maintain an organized and sanitary kitchen environment at all times.
• Menu Assistance & Nutrition
• Provide input on menu adjustments based on seasonal availability, staff preferences, and budget.
• Assist in planning nutritionally balanced meals to enhance staff satisfaction.
• Teamwork & Collaboration
• Work closely with kitchen assistants and dishwashers to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Provide basic guidance and support to new kitchen staff on food safety and kitchen practices.

Job Requirements

• Education & Experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in large-scale kitchens, factory canteens, or mass catering settings.
• Familiarity with operations involving meals for 50–100 people is required.
• Skills
• Proficient in Chinese or basic Asian cuisine (vegetarian cooking is an added advantage).
• Experienced in large wok/rice pot cooking and bulk meal timing.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills.
• Personal Attributes
• Responsible, diligent, and able to work independently or in a team.
• High awareness of hygiene and a strong work ethic.

Working Hours & Benefits

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (may vary depending on workload)
• Salary Range: RM2,400 – RM4,000 (negotiable based on experience)
