Job Description Of The ESP Of Body Structure Underbody General: Lead Engneer Role of Body Structure Under Body, leading one of Front end/Under floor/Front&Rear Armature based on subsequent job split. Lead and accomplish Engineering gateway deliveries including but not limited to

3D/2D CAD Engineering Items (EI) with completeness and compatibility, reflect the optimization based on input/constrains of design/interface/package/attribute/manufacturing/weight/cost,

Requirements Managements & Design Verification/Validation (RMDV) - virtual/physical validation,

Automated Issues Management System (AIMS) issue tracking and solving,

Proceed EBER (Evidence based Engineering review) of Gateway deliverables, Conduct DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis) and DRBFM (Design Review Based on Failure Mode),

SCSS (Special Characteristic Summary Sheet) formation and cascade to quality team / In house manufacturing / supplier, Be familiar with and own technical / manufacturing knowledge of Alu/Steel Stamping, Alu HPDC, Alu Exturion and the corresponding joining technologies of the mixed car bodies Fast learning / Quick response / logic thinking / target orientation to solve the unexpected issues. Lessens Learning collection during projects / regular reports as needed.

DCR/ECR management and cost tracking throughout the entire project development English as working language. Fluent in both written and spoken English. Professional communication skills to effectively lead technical reviews, write engineering documentation, and present to global cross-functional teams. 2D/3D concepts/solutions/Gateway EI deliverables : Formation the technical 2D/3D concept / solution based on input/iterations from integration / package / attribute (mainly passive safety, D&R and NVH, oceanshipment, recovery, towing, sealing, corrosion, weight, perceived quality, W&D, service and repair, etc) / Vehicle Engineering / Vehicle Safety Professional users of CATIA V6 and to develop 3D models of underbody components and sub-assemblies. Build CAD Tree, Manage BOM List, Analyzing and representation of materials, standard parts, adhesive, joinings. Be able to fully understand the GD&T of the part/assy, Perform GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) annotations. Familiar with DFMEA/SCSS (Special Characteristic Summary Sheet) of body structure and representation into EI. Global Sourcing Process:

Take the PE Lead Engineer role the global sourcing process (GSP) of your commodities. Supporting JLR global sourcing strategy of body structure commodities. Send RFQ Data, making/cascade cost pack, QAF template, coop with Procurement team QAF collection and issue solving. Supplier management regarding time/quality/cost.

Organize/attend technical review of R capability of suppliers in China. Co-determine the VB strategy with CoC and UK VB team. Ensure the industrialization of out-sourcing commodities for IPB/PVB/PPB/J1.
