• Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the primary procurement contact for plant leadership and functional stakeholders.
• Understand business priorities and translate requirements into procurement actions.
• Support Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and Project teams.
• Ensure procurement alignment with plant objectives, production requirements, and investment plans.
• Drive stakeholder satisfaction and procurement value recognition.
• Plant-Specific Sourcing, Negotiation & Cost Savings
• Lead sourcing activities not covered under Global Procurement categories or global contracts.
• Execute local and site-specific RFQs, supplier selection, and negotiations.
• Identify and deliver cost-saving and value-improvement opportunities.
• Support CAPEX, maintenance, services, utilities, and emergency sourcing requirements.
• Manage local supplier relationships and performance.
• Ensure supply continuity for site-critical materials and services.
• Internal Reporting, Escalation & Risk Management
• Prepare procurement reports and business updates for plant management and procurement leadership.
• Monitor savings delivery, sourcing pipeline, supplier risks, and procurement performance.
• Act as the primary escalation point for procurement-related operational issues.
• Coordinate resolution of supplier delivery, quality, commercial, and contractual issues.
• Support supply risk assessments and mitigation actions.
• Team Leadership & Procurement Coordination
• Lead and coach Plant Procurement Managers and Buyers.
• Coordinate activities between Business Procurement, Commodity Procurement, Operational Procurement and Procurement Excellence teams.
• Support implementation of procurement policies, systems, and governance requirements defined by Procurement Excellence.
• Drive compliance with procurement processes and reporting standards.
• Share best practices and support capability development within the procurement organization. Key Success Indicators
