Participate in the upstream project reflections in conjunction with the research team and architects

• Challenge the technical choices to promote the reduction of time to market and cost of production while ensuring product quality
• Pilot design reviews and make design documentation available
• Study and design, from the external and internal functional analysis, innovative solutions: Arguments and selected solutions
• Participate in the development of the design file (3D CAD*, cost quotation, drawings, calculation, testing ...), according to the current process development, as part of the development of new products or improvement of existing products.
• Ensure good communication and alignment of needs with other product line managers and external stakeholders.
• Report team information, alert and propose solutions to project management and line managers.
• Apply the development process, propose developments of this process (adjustments, optimizations) respecting its foundations: guarantee the quality of development, ensure development times and capitalize knowledge.
• Participate in the drafting of functional analyses, verify the completeness of the technical specifications review. Ensure traceability of requirements and their documentation.
• Have a «client» view of the needs expressed and share it with the project team: go beyond the technical issues to understand the purpose of the function and the client’s need

The Candidate on the position should take responsibility independently for the creation and improvement of Electric-structure designs of Low Voltage apparatus.

The responsibility includes all Electric- structure engineering activities as bellow but not limited:

• Find suitable solutions in accordance with the whole project objectives: quality, cost, schedule.
• In charge of giving a detailed design of the product, establish all the technical constraints (drawing, specification, assembly conditions and interchange ability requirement) in order to launch parts for industrial tooling.
• Ensure to provide the right quality level of technical deliverables at each project development phase.
• Design whole or partially the LV apparatus 's structure assembly.
• Keep improving the quality of Socomec’s products.
• Support the production when mass production starts.
• Understand project management, be an active team member in the project.
• Ensure products comply with relevant safety & environmental requirements.
• Be responsible for the patent mining, layout and writing of research projects. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following selection criteria:
• Highly organized, with proven ability in the delivery of multiple projects, working within strict time constraints. Would be expected to take a pro-active approach to identify project risk and deliver high quality products.
• Good at UG NX, preferred if familiar with digital simulation tools
• Good command of both oral and written English.
• Autonomy, ability to take initiative
• Very organized, rigorous, and good team spirit, Preferred academic qualifications and background
• Bachelor degree and above, majored in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; * ＞ =5 years' design experience in Power Electrical equipment or , new material （ metal & plastic） or low-voltage AC/DC breaking technology design experience is a plus;
• Experience for international company will be a plus
