• Material Category Procurement and supporting function Procurement
• Oversee full-category procurement for connector production: copper (brass/phosphor bronze/beryllium copper), plastics Resin (LCP/PA9T/PBT), terminals, electroplating, molds, and packaging.
• Familiar with stamping, electroplating, injection molding, and assembly supply chains; understand plating types (gold/silver/nickel/tin) and cost impact.
• Supplier Development & Management
• Develop and evaluate terminal stamping plants, injection molding factories, and electroplating subcontractors.
• Establish tiered supplier assessment (quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness); conduct factory audits.
• For automotive connectors, familiar with IATF 16949 / PPAP / APQP.
• Develop connector suppliers across Vietnam (Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Hai Phong, HCMC), covering terminal stamping, injection molding, electroplating, hardware, and molds.
• Lead Vietnam suppliers audits and qualification; for locally unavailable materials (such as high-precision terminals, plating, Ferrule), build a "local + import (NCNT)" dual-source strategy.
• Cost Control & Negotiation
• Lead price research and negotiation; design price linkage mechanisms for copper price fluctuations.
• Conduct cost breakdown analysis on terminals, housings, and springs.
• Drive annual cost reduction via centralized purchasing, payment terms, and material substitution.
• Business negotiation for indirect procurement, including HR & Admin services, facility projects, and logistics costs, ensuring cost efficiency across supporting functions.
• New Product Introduction
• Interface with R&D/PM on material selection, sampling, certification, and volume procurement.
• Participate in BOM cost analysis; support material substitution and cost reduction.
• Able to read connector drawings and understand specs (pitch, insertion force, waterproof rating).
• Delivery & Exception Handling
• Manage PO issuance, delivery follow-up, and payment reconciliation; resolve quality issues and line-down shortages.
• Monitor lead-time risks for critical materials; plan multi-source selection.
• Handle slow-moving materials to reduce inventory.
• Process & Team Management
• Standardize ERP procurement workflows and records.
• Manage procurement team daily work and performance. 【Requirements】 1. 8+ years connector industry procurement management experience — stamping / injection molding / electroplating / assembly.
• Familiar with copper, plastics, terminals, and mold supply channels and quality standards.
• Proficient in ERP (SRM preferred); PPAP/APQP familiarity preferred;
• English as working language — able to read technical datasheets, communicate with overseas suppliers, and review English contracts. CET-6 or equivalent.
• Strong negotiation, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination skills.
