Occupational Experience ＞ 10 years of experience in production technology development with at least 5 years in leadership positions Proofen record in managing large-scale and fast-track development projects and teams. Additional Knowledge Requirements Strong understanding of consumer electronics MP-processes, especially in advanced optics.

Major Duties

• Factory and production line setup - projects Is responsible for screening and qualifying suppliers to ensure technical capabilities, engineering and manufacturing capacity and competitive pricing. Manage suppliers to develop and manufacture tools according to specifications, schedules, and quality standards. Is in charge to specify, qualify and commissioning new equipment and hand over to NPI team after successfully passing SAT. Managing the integration and automation of processing and metrology equipment into scalable sub-lines.
• Production Technology Development Is responsible to develop and optimize technologies and processes to enable our Consumer electronic and Photonics applications roadmaps, with focus on scalability, CapEx efficiency, equipment flexibility for multi program usage.
• Scouting of new production technologies Is responsible for evaluation of new production technologies with the potential to disruptively improve quality and/or cost of optical components products.
• Technology Center Responsible to build-up and run our optical components technology center to be able to evaluate and develop disruptive technologies and sample optical components products for new customers.
• Leadership Leads his/her organization in China, defining clear roles and responsibilities, leveraging the strengths of SCHOTT network developing and delivering solutions best in quality and cost. Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to inspire and lead diverse teams in a fast-paced environment und high pressure. Drive disruptive innovation and encourage out of the box thinking across all engineering functions. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence.
• Duties Ability to develop high performance team with strong technical and communication skills (China & South of Asia). Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely within a matrix organization (e.g. Product Management, Strategy, Sales, Operations, NPD/NPI, Purchasing) to align engineering efforts with market needs. Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
