• Collaborate other functions (Optics, Hardware) to design Line-card and optical modules for optical telecommunication industry. Independently responsible for mechanical perspective. Especially for compact size-customed EDFA and pluggable modules (QSFP/OSFP).
• Provide 3D and 2D drawings for statically mechanical structure and packages.
• Perform thermal simulation (Flotherm) and thermal test.
• Guide sample building, verify design structure and solve related problems
• Provide mechanical-relative technical files, such as Mechanical BOM, tolerance analysis，DFMEA, MDVT report.
• Performs projects within budget & schedule. New product transfer/introduction -30%
• Design new jigs/fixtures or use current jigs/fixtures for pin forming, assembly, testing, etc. to ensure assembly efficiency and quality
• Transfer mechanical parts/assemble process to manufacturing line, not only Fuzhou line but also foreign sites.

• Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant fields
• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering/thermal engineering,
• 2+ years working experience in photo-communication industry, Familiar with general optical parts, such as Pump, PD, ISO.
• Familiar with thermal knowledge, can be independently do thermal simulation in modules level.
• Familiar with various manufacturing processes, such as Die-casting, Injection, machining, Sheetmetal.
• Both spoken and written English are required to cooperate with different sites/countries team and customers
