• Responsible for mechanical systems development of robotic lawn mowers, including chassis, drive systems, cutting systems, suspension mechanisms, protective structures, and related subsystems.
• Transfer product requirements, customer needs, and regulatory requirements into system-level technical specifications.
• Coordinate activities between mechanical, electrical, software, testing, manufacturing, and other cross functions.
• Organize technical reviews and drive resolution of complex engineering issues during development and validation phases.
• Lead root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting of prototype, testing and field related.
• Window person between R&D engineers and cross-functional to handle project daily tasks.
• Other tasks assigned by superior. Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of product development experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience in system-level product development, preferably in robotic lawn mowers, service robots, autonomous mobile robots, outdoor power equipment or comparable electromechanical systems.
• Understanding of robotic systems, sensors, navigation concepts, and interactions between mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, facilitate decision-making, and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Proficiency in use of 2D&3D drawing software, PTC Creo is preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in international engineering projects is preferred.
