SSME MI Senior Mechatronic Engineer

Areas Of Responsibilities Conduct mechatronic engineering activities for responsible components and function blocks, including requirement clarification, concept generation, detailed design, verification and technical support.

• Develop robust mechatronic solutions according to short- and long-term business and product needs.
• Ensure assigned mechatronic deliverables meet project requirements on quality, cost and schedule.
• Drive end-to-end solution innovation, development and lifecycle maintenance for responsible mechatronic function blocks, covering mechanical design, electrical interfaces and control integration.
• Ensure integrity, testability and reliability of assigned components and subsystem-level solutions.
• Develop and maintain solution roadmap for involved mechatronic function blocks, applying state-of-the-art industry technologies, R&D tools and methods.
• Apply simulation, modeling and AI-enabled engineering tools to support concept evaluation, design optimization, risk identification, verification planning and problem solving.
• Promote standardized design principles and structured solution selection to improve reuse, scalability, maintainability, quality consistency and cost efficiency across mechatronic function blocks.
• Act as technical lead for at least one mechatronic function block, responsible for technology roadmap, solution pipeline, technical reviews and expert consultation.
• Lead major technical topics with project team and provide feasible solutions.
• Drive integration and close collaboration with local and global hardware engineering, system engineering, software, manufacturing, quality, service and supplier teams.
• Inherit, optimize and standardize design guidelines, specifications, reusable solution libraries, material and process databases to support consistent design and solution selection.
• Establish and maintain effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
• Maintain and optimize engineering processes and operating mechanisms to support agile and efficient development.
• Lead or contribute to special assignments defined by the supervisor.

Dimension Of Function/Volume Manage and develop the mechatronic engineering function block to ensure the performance, quality and cost of system hardwares with timely manners.

Experience

• ＞5 years experience in mechatronic, mechanical or motion-control engineering for medical equipment or equivalent complex systems, with deep expertise in at least one relevant function block.
• Proven track record in leading technical topics, design reviews, cross-functional problem solving and mentoring junior engineers, with strong capability in simulation-driven design, AI-assisted engineering practices, design standardization and structured solution selection.
• Soft skills: systematic thinking, customer orientation, clear communication, learning agility, resilience and situational awareness.
• Education

Master or above in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, automation, electrical engineering, control engineering or equivalent.
