"EFdeN is Romania's representative in Solar Decathlon Europe 2014 competition, taking place in Versailles in June 2014. In November 2012, 4 teams from Romania enrolled in the selection process, Iasi, Timisoara, Cluj and Bucharest, but one only got qualified amongst the 20 teams around the world. Solar Decathlon Europe is a worldwide contest between universities in which students have to design, build, and operate solar-powered houses that are cost-effective, energy-efficient, and attractive. Our mission is to create a house that is adaptable, affordable and comfortable and meanwhile we aim to revitalize Romanian Educational and Research systems."
