Developed a CNN model in PyTorch for diagnosing rare diseases from images and X-rays, achieving a 96% F1 score from a small and imbalanced dataset. Engineered end-to-end ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from public databases through APIs, and web scraping, creating a comprehensive, up-to-date rare diseases database for researchers. Built a user-friendly web application to query the rare diseases database, enhancing data access efficiency and significantly reducing search time.
