Study and Implementation of the PCI SSF Standard: Analyzing and Iventory of All Differences Between PA DSSv3.2 and PCI SSF

During my technical internship at the Laboratory of the National Institute of Posts and Telecommunications (INPT) | National Agency for Telecommunications Regulation (ANRT), I undertook a diverse range of tasks that enriched my skills in various IT domains. I was actively involved in the supervision and prediction of electrical energy consumption, gaining insights into energy efficiency strategies. Additionally, I took charge of launching and ensuring the security of an MQTT broker, a critical component in the Internet of Things (IoT) communication. Addressing web application security, I worked on enhancing the safety measures to protect against potential vulnerabilities. Furthermore, my responsibilities extended to the collection, storage, and visualization of data, providing me with hands-on experience in data management. I also played a key role in implementing containerization solutions using Docker, which not only reinforced the isolation of applications but also contributed to overall security enhancements. This internship at the INPT | ANRT laboratory was a dynamic and comprehensive learning experience, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios and significantly expanding my expertise in the field.

During my internship at the National Airports Office, I had the opportunity to delve into the fascinating field of cybersecurity. My primary role involved providing valuable assistance to the team responsible for configuring and maintaining firewalls. This task allowed me to deepen my understanding of essential security devices that safeguard computer systems against potential threats. Additionally, I also contributed to log monitoring, a crucial responsibility in the early detection of suspicious activities and the preservation of network integrity. This internship was a rewarding experience that enhanced my practical knowledge of the cybersecurity challenges within such a critical institution as the National Airports Office.
