The objective of the project was to implement a CRM software to collect accurate data that sales and marketing team can use to guide promotional efforts and improve sales. As the project manager, I led the project from start to finish. I held a requirements’ gathering meeting to collect initial needs and communication preferences, created the project charter, sent it to the sponsor for verification, and held a kickoff meeting with the stakeholders to secure their approval. In the planning, I developed the project plan. Using a Gantt chart, the team and I defined all activities, established relationships and dependencies, and identified resources for each activity. For estimating project activities, I employed bottom-up estimation techniques, sequenced the activities, and set their relationships. I calculated the project budget, added reserves for identified high-risk factors, and recorded them in the risk register. After completing the project plans and obtaining the necessary baseline approvals, I created a communication agenda and plan, and ensured stakeholder engagement through regular steering committee meetings. During the execution phase, I acquired the project team, addressed their needs, organized team-building activities and necessary training, created and sent status reports to the stakeholders, implemented risk responses, and resolved team issues. In the monitoring and controlling phase, I implemented necessary changes after approval from the Change Control Board, controlled the scope and cost, and took corrective actions as needed. During closing the project, I collected client validation on the deliverables, documented the lessons learned in the register, and formally closed the project. The project outcomes were Increased of market share, Increased of customer acquisition rates and Improved forecast.

The primary objective of creating an online press website is to provide a platform for delivering news and information to a board audience via the Internet. The website aims to disseminate news articles, reports, and other journalistic content, informing and engaging readers about current events, trends, and topics of interest. Additionally, it will serve as a revenue source through advertising, subscriptions, or sponsored content. As the project manager, I identified and recorded the project stakeholders in the stakeholders register to address their needs and requirements later in the project. I then created the project charter and obtained the approval on it. During the planning phase, I identified all requirements in detail, defined the scope, and created the project schedule. Along with the team, we defined activities, set relationships and dependencies, assigned resources and created the resource calendar. I estimated project activities using bottom-up estimation techniques, sequenced them, and developed a communication plan. I identified risks and created response plans, defined quality requirements from the customer, and coordinated procurements with the procurement department. I also planned stakeholder engagement and held regular meetings with the steering committee. During implementation phaseI carried out the project work with the team and sent status reports to stakeholders. I implemented risk responses and executed the procurement plan. I also implemented approved changes, controlled the scope, and took necessary corrective and preventive actions. The project was completed successfully and the customer approved the delivery of the online press website and news platform.
