Working with parent company Wiley, my main goals were : 1) Developing a strategy to address the complex integration issues between the information systems of CrossKnowledge and it’s clients 2) Communicating with IT,HR and E-Learning departments inside big french companies to look into, characterise and properly define their integration requirements 3) Supervising the integration of CrossKnowledge Learning System with third party e-learning platforms like CornerStone 4) Integrating with other third party vendors through SSO like SAML2

TICK&LIVE develops ticketing solutions to meet the needs of professionals in the world of live entertainment, sports and events. The company is a subsidiary of France Billet and Fimalac. France Billet, a subsidiary of FNAC, is the leading ticket distribution network in France, with nearly 14 million tickets sold per year, a network of +1,200 physical points of sale, the leading websites fnacspectacles.com and francebillet. com as well as +7,500 partner websites and a network of + 6,500 CE partners. Fimalac became in a few years the French leader in Entertainment with strong positions in the production of shows (Gilbert Coullier Productions, Auguri Productions, K-WET Production) and the management of theaters (Hall Pleyel, Salles Vega, The Comedia, The Silo ...). I work as a consultant on Datasport which is a Sport-oriented solution used by many major french football, leagues and Federations, Sports Clubs, Sports Event Organizers, Stadiums and Arenas. Datasport is a web application written in Asp.net,C#, running in IIS on top of Oracle 11g and PLSQL procedures. The solution has a lot of functionalities, like Orders, Distance Selling, Tools, Visualisation ( stadium and arena plans ), real-time access control. It communicates with many external partners through web services like Rest, SOAP, Socket technology. My main area of expertise lies in the design and maintenance of the real-time access control system which is used by more than 30 stadiums and arenas all across France. Hence I often communicate with external partners involved in access control at Stadiums and Arenas, to ensure the proper communication between our different systems. I also work on a customer facing web site used by more than 30,000 internet users around France, who used the system to buy tickets for events online. I intervene in the maintenance and in the development of new functionalities like the RGPD which is the ’’Règlement général sur la protection des données’’.

Lead Developer on 3 different tools for the insurance branch of the bank which has over 1.9 million clients and manages over 856 millions d'euros in premiums across whole France. The tools handle multi-asset life insurance products by a wide range of financial instruments including UCITS, to enable people to invest in the financial markets over the long term in return for a certain risk taking. 1) Commissions payment system This system handles all the commissions which are paid to intermediaries which sell financial products which have been designed and developed by the bank. I was in charge of ensuring that the payments are paid in a timely manner, and of correcting all bugs which may lead to discrepancies in the payments.The monthly payments which are handled are in the range of 20-30 millions euros. I ensured the proper delivery of monthly financial reports and dashboards which give critical performance indicators on each bank in the bank’s network, around 40 of them. Technologies : VB.net, SQL Server, XML, ISO 20022 Number of users : 4 2) Actuarial Information system This is a critical tool used by the actuarial department. Used by different kind of professionals including doctors which help in the decision making process. Different kinds of forms are generated including medical questionnaires, loans, letters etc. I lead the migration of the system from Access to SQL server 2012 which was successfully adopted by the users. I conducted an audit beforehand and ensured that the migration was conducted in a timely manner. Technologies : VB.net, SQL Server Number of users : 9-11 3) Cash flow payment system This tool handles daily payments to another intermediary in the bank's network. I designed the automation of the system and the financial reports. Technologies : C#, Sql server, XML, RDLC, ado.net,ISO 20022

I had the role to design and implement an external system to communicate to an existing catalog management system which is written in apple’s WebObject. I designed and worked on a rating system, written in ASP.NET MVC, C#, Jquery, AJAX and TSQL. I also intervened in the TSQL procedures.

Maintain, repair obsolete/deprecated functionalities.Participate in the UI redesign and use of more up to date functionalities. • Use code analysis and code metric results to determine which is the best strategy to adopt in a project migration, choosing between continuous refactoring and complete redesign / development. • Used and applied common design patterns to solve problems. • Created models using Entity Framework 6.1 and integrated with MVC5. • Implement test driven development by creating unit tests, integration testing and regression testing • Version control using Git in Microsoft Visual Studio professional. Joined BDO Financial Services and worked with a team of banking professionals on a business intelligence requirements, gap and recommendation analysis for a client in Africa. Also involved in auditing.

I had the opportunity to acquire both laboratory technical skills as well as programming skills during my internship. The Bioinformatics facility provided me training in the fields of genetic engineering, with courses on genetics ( molecular biology, laboratory techniques, Electrophoresis, northern blot etc...), functional genomics ( transcriptomics, dna arrays ), protein science with mass spectrometer as well as immunoprecipitation techniques, neuroscience, (use of a neural simulator ) biostatistics (anova,linear, logistic regression, max likelihood..), mathematical models used in biology ( solving differential equations in SCILAB, runge kutta method, regulation models in genetics..). The computer science part of the internship provided me with the principles used in algorithmic design and time complexity, C programming ( use of fundamental and abstract data structures, linked lists, binary trees, queues...), database design ( normalisation,sql), biostatistics programming ( use of R and statistical modules ), finite machines ( formal languages, deterministic and non deterministic automata...). Use of PYMOL for in silico molecular visualization and identification of possible protein target sites. A course on nanobiotechnology, with focus on the use of gold nanorods to destroy cancerous tumors, and of the various possible applications of nanoscience in medicine. Study of different molecular biology articles, Alzheimer disease (amyloid plaque hypothesis), materials and methods used for the analysis of genes and proteins.
