Société Bretonne de Construction Navale has developped game changing waterjets for naval propulsion. I have been involved in the design, specification and manufacturing of those units from start to finish. This experience has introduced me to wide scope of fields, from recruitment, day to day management, training, to manufacturing (from 3D modelling, 3D printing to CNC machining). As the head of studies, it has also been an opportunity to deepen theoretical knowledge (mechanics) and apply litterature to engineering problems (composite scantling, manufacturing compromises)

Freelancing brings interesting and sometimes unexpected experiences. I have been working on ground breaking desktop scientific applications for ship design, propulsion, CNC machining.This coherent application ecosystem is coded in Java SE 8, have deep roots in physics, geometry and numerical computation. I bootstrapped a civil engineering company to bring up an embedded Linux control panel based on Wachendorff excellent dust and water proof Opus systems to market. Linux/C++/Qt work. I regularly manage technical projects for art company Cie Carpe Diem (interactive video installation, mechanical layout and specification, wood machining and building). I design and specify prototype equipements. I currently look at 3D printing and machining workflow applications, AHRS IMU and ultrasound for fine body tracking and visualisation with Java/OpenGL.
