On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), co-funded by the European Union, GIZ is implementing the Sustainable Training and Education Programme (STEP III) in Ethiopia. GOPA worldwide consultancy in consortium with Common Sense is engaged in the Digitalization of Core Processes and the Development of Blended Learning Formats for the TVET System, which is a part of STEP III. I am consulting GOPA Worldwide Consultancy as a national project coordinator.

As a CPD specialist, I work closely with partners and government counterparts to develop a strong culture of delivery of reformed CPD for school leaders. I oversee and liaise with regional TTEs in relation to pilot intervention in four of the emerging regions and school leader CPD pilot and scale-up at the regional level. I also collaborate closely with CPD TARGET technical experts at MOE.

EASTRIP, financed by the World Bank, is a regional project in three East African countries including Ethiopia, Kenya, and Tanzania. The project aims to increase access, improve the quality of technical and vocational education, and facilitate regional integration. Hence, as the Project Manager, at the institutional level, I was responsible for the overall coordination and facilitation of the project. I manage and coordinate project activities, from substantive, administrative, and financial points of view, applying strategic planning and systematic coordination of project activities, managing day-to-day project implementation, and overall coordination of project outcomes. I supervise the Project personnel and ensure effective communication and coordination between the Project offices and the World Bank Country office. I also Provide direction and leadership in advocating project objectives and in ensuring that all interested parties are well-informed about the project activities and goals. Produce and review reports concerning the project deliverables, and produce monthly progress reports. And documentation of all correspondences during the implementation of project activities Project monitoring reports (Monthly, quarterly, and annual reports)

I was working in HERQA (Higher Education Relevance and Quality Assurance Agency) as quality auditing and enhancement sr. expert. The ultimate goal of HERQA is to improve the quality of education in the higher education institutions. Here, as an expert, my role is to assess the quality education provided in higher education institutions, provide need based training, and evaluate and monitor the progress of institutions towards enhancing quality of education they provide.
