As a consultant assigned to Decathlon, I collaborated with the compact team behind the internal tool, MyBusiness. My contributions, utilizing React for front-end operations, were pivotal in perpetually upgrading the application and modernizing the technical stack. Upon joining the team, one of my first initiatives was to streamline the developer experience (DX) by migrating from CRA to Vite. → This switch significantly reduced the cold start time of the project from 1 minute to just 1 second. I then managed a crucial transition of an aging application, burdened by accumulated technical debt, to a robust and modern environment. → The conversion process undertaken has resulted in a platform that's not only easier to maintain but is also well-aligned with modern Software Standards. From this conversion, the main highlights include: - Led an incremental implementation of TypeScript to increase the reliability and predictability of code - Developed a customized design system to provide a consistent and user-friendly interface - Conducted a significant code refactor (-6k/+1k lines) by transitioning from Redux to RTK/jotai/react-query and react-hook-form, eliminating the scattered useState usage - Successfully optimized the initial app's static build size, reducing it by 99% via lazy loading, gzip encoding, dead code elimination, and extensive refactoring with the newly adopted libraries. This strategic move notably improved the Time to Interact (TTI) from 15-20 seconds down to approximately 1-2 seconds → Building upon this transformation, I contributed to several feature developments across various teams. These contributions aimed at helping vendors in-store in preparing, managing, and analyzing their businesses, as well as promoting local sports development.

Noteworthy Projects: - French Table Tennis Federation (FFTT) - On a year-long mission with FFTT, I was part of a three-developer team revamping their 15-year-old back-office system, modernizing and enhancing its efficiency. Among our project challenges, the most significant was maintaining almost all existing features while implementing enhancements and ensuring compatibility with external APIs, a task we successfully executed. → The new application was successfully developed using VueJS+ MaterialUI for front-end and Symfony (via ApiPlatform) for back-end - Acadomi - A platform bridging babysitters and parents, I independently handled the project from layout integration to CMS (Prismic) setup. → I used VueJS on the front-end, ensuring atomic design methodology for seamless transition to a future development team. - Red-electric - An e-commerce website for scooters. Originally created as a React SPA, the growing SEO needs required a transition to SSR (Server-Side Rendering). → I managed this transition by migrating the application from a CRA foundation to a NextJS base (v8 at the time).
