🔬 International R&D Mission – Cross-institutional Bioimage Software Integration (Icy × Fiji) Partnership mission between Institut Pasteur and the Laboratory for Optical and Computational Instrumentation (LOCI) directed by Kevin Eliceiri from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Within the framework of the final project of the engineering cycle, the goal is to create a sustainable software development partnership between two Java software for microbiological image analysis: Icy for Institut Pasteur and Fiji for LOCI. Cross-institutional software integration project between Institut Pasteur's Icy platform and University of Wisconsin-Madison's Fiji software (LOCI lab, Kevin Eliceiri). Challenge: Initially aimed for direct content processing inter-compatibility between both Java applications. Overcame technical blockers by implementing parallel Python integration solutions, enabling enhanced scripting capabilities in both platforms through shared implementation methodology.
