Since joining Made.com as a finance analyst the size of the business has increased more than 3x and as a key part of the commercial finance / FP&A team my responsibilities have included: • Driving the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process • Supporting key stakeholders from across the full breadth of the business, making recommendations on commercial and finance strategy by setting up business KPI’s and financial modelling to ensure all business demands are planned, communicated and tracked. • Working closely with the International management team to understand P&L performance against both financial and operational targets by producing regular reporting and analysis into trading and marketing performance. • Creating business cases and analysis for numerous projects including: pricing strategy, promotional mechanics, new showrooms and new market entries • Ensure the business is managing cash flows effectively by owning and maintaining weekly cash flow modelling. • Project management of the FP&A quarterly re-forecasting process with a key focus on improving the existing processes and forecasting models. • Create and maintain weekly/monthly reporting and analysis dashboards on top and bottom line for the Board of Directors • Working closely with the wider finance team to ensure accurate month-end reporting and variance analysis
