🔹 Designed and developed a full-stack WebGIS solution for image georeferencing and advanced cartographic drawing, using Spring Boot, Angular, PostGIS, and GeoServer. 🔹 Applied hexagonal architecture to build a modular, maintainable backend and integrated OpenLayers for real-time spatial visualization on the frontend. 🔹 Leveraged Python (Flask) + GDAL for server-side geospatial processing and used Docker to containerize each module in preparation for a future microservices deployment. 🔹 Built and maintained a CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions to automate testing, builds, and Docker image publishing. 🔹 Worked in an Agile Scrum environment, collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver functional, cloud-ready features incrementally.

🔹Development of an interactive web mapping application: Participated in the design and implementation of a web application leveraging advanced GIS technologies such as GeoServer, OpenLayers, QGIS, and PostGIS to visualize and manage geospatial data. 🔹Map layer management: Implemented features for importing, displaying, and managing map layers, including efficient handling of styles and legends for clear geospatial representation. 🔹Team collaboration: Worked closely with Mohamed Aymen Derbel to tackle technical challenges, optimize performance, and ensure smooth and productive collaboration throughout the project. 🔹Project presentation: Delivered a successful technical presentation to the GIS team, demonstrating a solid understanding of the technologies used and highlighting the innovative contributions made to the solution. 🔹GIS knowledge development: Gained strong foundational skills in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

During this internship, I was introduced to modern web development through a hands-on project: the design and implementation of a quiz application using Spring Boot (backend) and Angular (frontend). I gained solid foundations in: 🔹Building RESTful APIs with Spring Boot 🔹Developing dynamic UIs with Angular 🔹Integrating frontend and backend into a fullstack web application 🔹Applying MVC architecture and component-based design This experience marked my first immersion into software engineering best practices and sparked my strong interest in fullstack development.
