L’institut Villebon – Georges Charpak a été créé par ParisTech, l‘Université Paris Descartes, l’Université Paris-Sud, la FCS Campus Paris-Saclay et la Fondation ParisTech. Labellisé Initiative d’Excellence en Formations Innovantes en mars 2012, soutenu par l’Initiative d’Excellence Paris-Saclay, il a vocation à devenir une structure pilote d’innovation pédagogique. L'institut délivre un diplôme de licence généraliste en « Sciences et Ingénierie », co-délivré par les Universités Paris Descartes et Paris-Sud, en partenariat avec ParisTech. Je suis responsable du module "Informatique et analyse de données" en 3ème année. L'objectif est de donner aux étudiants les compétences pour mener des projets complexes d'analyse de données. Le cours propose une introduction aux concepts fondamentaux d'analyse statistique et de machine learning, en utilisant python comme langage de référence, à travers l'implémentation de certains algorithmes, ou en utilisant des bibliothèques scientifiques dédiées (numpy, scipy et scikit-learn). Les étudiants doivent également mener des projets sur des données réelles, par groupes, avec une approche agile et les bonnes méthodes de développement logiciel (git, test driven developement).

Scientific, strategic, operational and business development of Kernix Lab - Definition of the key R&D topics, integrating state of the art in data and AI to provide new services to websites development and business applications. - Development of an inhouse data platform based on graph and text mining. - Marketing actions for branding and outreach (blog, articles, public speaking, white papers, etc.) - Design of the business offers, market diversification (web analytics and recommendations, marketing and sales, IoT and health, supply chain and industry), pre-sales : significant increase of innovation to turnover. - Recruitment and training of new employees - Establish and manage collaborations with private and public partners, R&D grant applications at French and European level (Eurostars and H2020)

Project management for wedding organization. Established a light scrum project management process with Redmine and trello, for a 3 person team (including myself). Extended my python knowledge to web oriented programming. Coded the server-side of the web application (Django MVC approach). Designed the Data schema, the models and the views handling the URIs with a REST architecture. Implemented some UI elements in the Django templating system.

Translation for Beta Analytics on radiocarbone dating

Analytics generation of cloud server usage. Feedback control on hosting parameters. Worked on conditioning and transmission of data between the server and the user interface (Redis/Lua/Python). Real-time testing of the server with randomly simulated data with adequate probability density functions (JavaScript).

Engineered the software (Fortran/python) to calculate phenomenological implications of no-scale supergravity principles at the LHC and in cosmology (calculations of physical spectrum and particle physics processes). First successful numerical implementation of a complete and general no-scale theoretical framework for precision calculations. Proved the validity of the corresponding theoretical principles, and analyzed the predictions in the light of recent experimental constraints. Developed interfaces, wrappers and static/dynamic libraries (Fortran/C/C++/python) to link my codes with other public codes (various particle physics and cosmology calculations, collider simulations). Teaching experiences with undergraduate students. Scientific outreach for a general audience in various national events (France). Supervised 3 students for various scientific projects, with JANUS grants from IN2P3 (French institute for particle physics). One had a grant for a PhD, in collaboration between two teams of theoretical and experimental physicists (from the ATLAS experiment at the LHC), in a project I started for migrating the main software developed in my lab (SuSpect) and used worldwide, from Fortran to C++ (in order to use object oriented methods, inheritance and polymorphism to easily extend the code for new models). Scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals, talks in various international conferences. Organization committee of DOCTISS 09, an event gathering all graduate students in physics, maths, computer science, robotics, electronics of Montpellier. Elected member of the scientific council of the LPTA. Defined policies regarding young researchers and students. Nominated in the budget committee to analyze the lab budget and reduce operational costs.
