- Upgraded Biblionasium, a Rails 3 application with a significant amount of legacy code, into a modern Rails 5 application. - Built a microservice for search functionality so that we can add autoscaling to it, as we've been experiencing high-traffic issues for that particular module.

- I was responsible for handling and overseeing a project in the education industry known as Biblionasium. This involved gathering requirements directly from the client and ensuring the project was properly maintained.

- Built some client startups from scratch like thePLQ and Exam Performance into production-ready applications. - Worked closely with clients to establish problem specifications and system designs. - Collaborated with front-end developers to integrate the new design of an existing application. - Learned and used a healthy deployment process to reduce bugs and maintain the stability of production applications. - Used Basecamp as a Project Management Tool. - Built and deployed a scalable online learning system web application and exposed APIs for mobile applications. - Implemented real-time messaging using QuickBlox (explored Layer as well). - Used AWS S3 to upload large files via the application. - Used background job for image file versioning using Delayed Job and Paperclip. - Wrote a custom coupon/voucher system module. - Used Pubnub for push notifications and OpenTok for video calling in an online consultation application. - Implemented CI/CD using Capistrano and CircleCI.

- Contributed to several Ruby on Rails production running applications like CofeeSender, Yapjobs, etc. - Built some applications from scratch like PBAcheck, Dmenu, etc. - Learned clean implementation of themes like Twitter Bootstrap and simple themes that consist of HTML, CSS, JavaScript files, etc. - Used Slim as a template engine and CoffeeScript to write JavaScript with short & clean syntax. - Used Trac - Agilo and Trello as Project Management Tools. - Built and exposed APIs for mobile apps and documented them on Apiary.io - Cleaned up templates/views code using partials for reusability. - Deployed applications on Heroku, and also used automatic deployments. - Wrote a custom shopping cart module for a client’s project using JavaScript, cookies, and sessions. - Integrated Stripe for payments and plans and webhooks for events. - Integrated Google Analytics and Segment.io to track website traffic and user interaction.

- Learned Ruby Language and got familiar with its syntax. - Built and deployed my first Ruby on Rails application Car Showroom as an assignment. - Used Carrierwave for image uploading and Elasticsearch for basic searching. - Used Git for version control. - Learned a basic deployment process to deploy this application on the DigitalOcean server.
