As part of my Master’s in Sustainability Management, I am conducting a 10-week research project at Sinal do Vale, a regenerative biohub in Brazil. My work explores the role of biohubs in strengthening bioregions, developing bioeconomies, and acting as financing facilities that connect resources with local regenerators. The report identifies access to long-term finance as Sinal’s main barrier to scale, affecting both its operations and the small businesses, cooperatives, and community initiatives it supports. To address this, I research funding sources and strategically match them to the organisation’s core functions as a biohub, contributing to its pathway toward long-term financial and ecological sustainability.

As part of the MSc in Sustainability Management at ESADE, I worked in a team of five students to act as sustainability consultants for Autodesk, addressing two main challenges: reducing Autodesk’s environmental impact from AI and cloud applications and creating awareness and engagement on sustainable practices within the Autodesk Tech Community. Our work involved conducting in-depth research on the environmental footprint of AI and cloud computing, benchmarking industry practices, and identifying opportunities to minimize emissions. We developed a Green Coding Guidance document to integrate sustainability into product development, while also designing awareness initiatives to engage employees and foster sustainable behaviors. At the end, we delivered strategic recommendations to Autodesk on AI and GreenOps, aiming to reduce environmental impact while empowering their global Tech Community to take part in the transition.

In the fast-growing sustainable fintech startup, Greenly, my responsibilities include the following: -> Help our managers identify the kind of talent they need, and where to find them -> Communicate to make Greenly's employer brand stronger by collaborating with the Marketing team -> Structure the talent acquisition process by setting up an Applicant Tracking System -> Meet with Managers from different departments to align with them about the hiring process -> Post on Job boards and ensure all the information and job descriptions are accurate -> Take ownership in the CV screening of the candidates -> Interview potential candidates
