Antoine Gintrand

At ELI-Beamlines, I led research projects focused on the simulation and analysis of high-energy shockwave dynamics induced by ultra-intense laser–plasma interactions. My work combined large-scale numerical modeling with high-dimensional data processing, contributing to experimental campaigns and international collaborations. Key responsibilities and achievements: Designed and implemented 5 simulation models to study shockwave propagation and radiative effects in high-energy-density physics. Ran over 200 high-performance simulations on national supercomputers to explore parameter spaces and validate theoretical models. Developed custom Python-based tools for data processing, statistical analysis, and visual exploration of simulation outputs. Participated in 3 international collaborations, integrating simulation data with experimental diagnostics. Published 10 peer-reviewed articles and presented results at international scientific conferences. Gained strong experience in data structuring, scientific computing, result communication, and automated workflows. This role allowed me to build deep technical skills in numerical simulation, data analysis, HPC environments, and scientific programming—competencies highly relevant to data science positions involving complex systems, structured data, and model-based reasoning.
