Extraordinary Journeys specialises in custom luxury African safaris. Reporting directly to the CEO, I am responsible for the development and maintenance of the company’s digital infrastructure. Across time we have developed multiple versions of a website with thousands of content endpoints that integrates with marketing tools and a CRM; a client dashboard including payment terminals and a custom CRM for the management of booking workflows.

Tech Lead role with a team of ~5 developers working on 3+ applications. Laid down roadmap proposals and coordinated with stakeholders, successfully released all planned product milestones. The last 3 months at the role were dedicated to onboarding a new internal team who was planned to take over.

Rewriting and improving a client's textbook reader and annotating application used in schools throughout France and french-speaking countries. Media enrichments, annotations, multi-formats (EPUB+) and offline access were part of the features imlpemented cross-platform (web, mobile, desktop). AcquiredBy was a marketplace for technology businesses and startups. I built and maintained its IT infrastructure, coordinating with the design and marketing team and stakeholders.

My work at Virtual Campus consisted of project managing as well as consulting, designing and developing custom web and mobile solutions for clients or as part of international funded projects. During my time at Virtual Campus, I collaborated in 10+ European projects (European Lifelong Learning Programme, etc.); authored multiple publications and conference communications and conducted training on e-learning solutions. At Extraordinary Journeys I was responsible for the complete redesign and implementation of a new website. I was also in charge of the development of diverse public & internal tools. There are no set itineraries at Extraordinary Journeys. We recently discovered that of the more than 500 safaris planned in the past three years, none has been the same!

My main responsibility at StoryDesk was to develop and maintain the company web front-ends such as the main public website and private content management system. StoryDesk helped enterprises transform static presentations and marketing materials into custom, native iPad applications that are memorable and measurable.
