1) Designed and developed a high-throughput payments microservice, decoupling payments from a monolithic billing & order provisioning system (handling ~200 RPS), significantly improving scalability, fault isolation, and maintainability. 2) Refactored and extracted the payments module from the monolith by architecting a standalone PostgreSQL database, optimizing query performance, and ensuring seamless data migration. 3) This new microservice reduced PCI audit scope from ~150 servers to just ~10, drastically minimizing compliance complexity and saving two months of engineering effort per audit cycle. 4) Integrated and optimized payment gateway support for global providers including Paytm, PayU, WebMoney, AliPay, WorldPay, Doku and Ebanx, expanding the platform’s international payment capabilities. 5) Engineered secure, high-performance RESTful APIs for end-to-end payment transaction handling—from user initiation to settlement—enhancing transaction speed and reliability. 6) Achieved 100% test coverage for critical native SQL queries in the repository layer, designing comprehensive unit tests for complex transactions to prevent regressions and improve database reliability.

1) Designed and developed a full-stack application from scratch using Vue.js (UI), Java (APIs), and Elasticsearch (DB), delivering a production-ready solution within 3 months. 2) Optimized database performance by revamping indexing and query execution, reducing query response time by 65%. 3) Investigated and resolved 300+ customer service inquiries, diagnosing product issues and implementing solutions that improved user experience and system reliability. 4) Streamlined development processes, improving post-release performance and stability by 10% through code optimizations and best practices. 5) Configured and deployed a Logstash pipeline to ingest data from three external sources into five Elasticsearch indexes, significantly improving data processing speed and readiness. 6) Delivered 100% of projects on time using Agile methodology, writing scalable, testable code and ensuring high-quality software releases. 7) Analyzed and resolved over 100 bugs/technical issues faced by the consumers
