As a corporate member, responsible for all IT projects regarding hotels and the company; definition of the road map, SOP documentation, implementation, testing new installations, new ERP for the company, help desk, Disaster Recovery Plan, Contracts, budgets, managing external suppliers, etc., etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: As a member of the EMEA Committee to define the IS strategy for all EMEA countries, reporting to the EMEA IS Director. 1.Responsible for the information technology functions in a specific work group including management, support, problem resolution, and technology implementation. 2.Understand business goals & proposed technology solutions. Assess the requirements of technology solutions including estimates of time, staffing & costs to implement & support. Develop or contribute to the development of capital project requests to fund the implementation of technology solutions. 3.Manage a team of IT professional / specialists in the implementation of new technology and on-hour / off-hour support of in-place technologies. 4.Develop procedures for implementation & ongoing support. This includes keeping technologies current & supported; change control procedures, installation instructions, support request instructions, etc. 5.Establish and monitor metrics for system quality…availability, a bends, aborts, etc. Break any outages or quality issues down to root causes and prevent recurrences by addressing root causes. DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1.Participate in staff meetings and team meetings as required. 2.Develop understanding of general industry usage of supported technologies. 3.Develop basic understanding of business processes and business dependencies on supported technologies. 4.Develop relationships within IS and with supported customers to improve collaboration and teamwork necessary to accomplish organizational objectives. 5.Participate in a development planning process where employee career goals are defined & understood and development activities are incorporated into the employee objectives. 6.Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
