– Built the Kraken OIR platform a full-stack NestJS/Angular/MongoDB application for BOQ (Bill of Quantities) forecast management, supporting complex pricing and financial workflows for global submarine cable infrastructure projects. – Engineered a high-performance XLSX data extraction engine by migrating from ExcelJS to the XLSX library, combined with in-memory caching and batch sheet processing – reducing multi-sheet parse time from 11 seconds to under 2 seconds, a 5x+ performance gain. – Designed a modular, rule-based BOQ data mapping pipeline in NestJS that reads XLSX/XLSM financial inputs, validates schema integrity, applies configurable transformation rules, and persists structured records into MongoDB collections. – Built a Tagetik export service that generates per-CIF-year Excel workbooks and packages them into ZIP archives, enabling direct ERP ingestion and structured financial forecasting across multiple cost centres and fiscal years. – Developed file reuse automation using hash-based comparison to detect unchanged input files, skipping redundant extraction cycles and significantly reducing overall pipeline execution time. – Implemented folder consistency enforcement and automated cleanup services in NestJS to detect orphaned files, normalise directory structure, and maintain a stable working state across concurrent processing jobs. – Built MongoDB aggregation pipelines for multi-dimensional BOQ data queries filtering by project, year, CIF, and product category powering the Angular OIR dashboard with fast, structured financial data access.
