The project focused on integrating a new international instant payment channel into the bank’s internal systems, enabling real-time cross-border payment transactions and improving overall transaction efficiency. My responsibility was to design and implement a core component of the middleware layer that connected the bank’s internal systems with the external payment solution. Specifically, I developed the orchestration service responsible for managing the full lifecycle of each payment, coordinating interactions between multiple downstream services, and ensuring consistency and reliability across the middleware. This orchestration layer was a critical dependency for the entire integration and central to the system’s correct operation.
