I led the end-to-end design, architecture and launch of a petabyte-scale logging and observability platform offered as a SaaS product. Owning both technical and functional responsibilities, I: Architected a distributed logging system handling Petabytes of storage across 1,000+ Elasticsearch nodes in multi-zonz clusters, achieving 99.9% data durability and seamless horizontal scaling via index lifecycle management, shard allocation and cross-cluster replication. Built unified observability by deploying Elastic Stack, Prometheus and Grafana to collect metrics, logs and traces; designed dashboards and alert rules that cut MTTD/MTTR. Automated infrastructure with Ansible for AWS and on-prem provisioning; integrated CI/CD pipelines for zero-downtime upgrades and security patching, reducing manual effort. Drove functional requirements by gathering and communicating with internal teams and clients to capture use cases; defined feature specs, prioritized backlog and ensured alignment of deliverables with business needs. Launched a multi-tenant SaaS offering, establishing subscription models, onboarding workflows and support processes to enable external customers to consume the platform. Mentored & collaborated, partnering with SRE, DevOps and application teams on SLAs, runbooks and on-call rotations; coached junior engineers on distributed systems best practices and observability tooling.

Built A GenAI POC to test RAG implementation

On an asynchronous contract, I spearheaded the end-to-end deployment of a centralized SIEM solution by installing and configuring lightweight collection agents on firewalls, load balancers, switches, and other network devices, funneling all logs and events into a dedicated Elastic cluster for unified analysis; I automated endpoint security agent rollout across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments using Ansible playbooks to ensure 100% coverage and consistent configuration; I collaborated closely with security and network teams to map log sources, define correlation rules, tune alert thresholds, and participated in establishing customized dashboards to surface key metrics and alerts; I also mentored the team responsible for maintaining the platform—sharing best practices, troubleshooting guidance, and runbook development—to ensure operational excellence and rapid incident response

As a Python Backend Developer partnering with multiple clients, I’ve designed and built scalable, secure server-side solutions using Django and Flask, architected RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices, and integrated third-party webhooks for real-time workflows. On AWS I’ve authored serverless Lambda functions, managed EC2-based applications, configured VPCs and security groups, and automated infrastructure provisioning with CloudFormation and Terraform. I optimized data persistence with PostgreSQL and Redis, implemented message-queuing with SQS, and enforced CI/CD best practices via GitHub Actions. Throughout each engagement I collaborated closely with frontend teams, DevOps engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into maintainable code, troubleshoot production issues, and mentor junior developers—delivering end-to-end backend systems that meet performance, availability and security SLAs.
