During my internship as a Cybersecurity Detection Engineering Intern at Realistic Security, I gained valuable experience in analyzing and defending against Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs). I conducted in-depth research on APT tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), developing detection strategies to identify sophisticated malicious activities. My role involved simulating APT and malware attacks to test detection mechanisms, assess vulnerabilities, and recognize indicators of compromise (IoCs). I also created and implemented customized ELK detection rules aligned with the MITRE ATT&CK framework to enhance early threat identification and strengthen incident response processes. This experience allowed me to build essential skills in threat analysis, malware behavior assessment, detection rule development, and incident response optimization, preparing me for advanced cybersecurity challenges.

During my Network Administration internship, I gained valuable hands-on experience in enterprise networking by conducting comprehensive network audits and actively participating in network infrastructure deployment. I was involved in implementing a new network environment that incorporated Active Directory, which enhanced my understanding of user access management and network security protocols. This practical experience provided me with real-world exposure to network administration tasks and strengthened my technical capabilities in managing enterprise-level network systems.
