My responsibilities for that mission were: 1/ Store Building - Finding the right location to set up shop - Getting quotations for branding and design (graphic design as well as store design) - Negotiate with contractors the cost of renovation - Keep a tight budget and meet the deadline by working on-site daily - Order all materials and equipment to be delivered on time to start operating 2/ Staff recruiting & training With the assistance of a consultant chef, we hired a team of four cooks and trained them a new way of cooking (no oil, no butter, no hot pans to keep the freshness and benefit of raw natural food). - Training on cleanliness - Training on waste control and first in first out method - Training for drink station and service staff 3/ Operation - Hiring a floor manager - Getting reports and fixing objectives for the following periods - Constant improvement based on customers feedbacks 4/ IT - Website creation for ordering (WordPress website with ICP for China whitelisting authorization and Alipay and WeChat pay integrated) 5/ Marketing - Finding a marketing agency to develop brand awareness - Partnerships creation - Content approving - New products photoshoot planning and execution

As procurement manager, I am responsible for the procurement team of 5 buyers based in Shanghai. The team is charge of the suppliers finding, factory visit and also accompanying clients when needed. I monitor the flow of the operations from receiving the customer request to make sure the cargo has arrived at the final destination and make sure the requirements of our clients are met during the quotation process, as well as delegate each of these operations among the teams and support with business development as needed. On the other hand, I contribute with the strategic planning of the business in order to establish attainable goals and set a growth direction of the business but also keep reaching targets and renegotiating contracts with suppliers to improve profitability.

Sailang is a company with wide experience in sourcing, finding of factories and suppliers, negotiation, quality control, and export products from China to customers all over the world. As a purchasing agent, I was in charge of the following tasks: - Establish product specifications - Source potential factories based on quality & price - Order & evaluate samples - Negotiate with suppliers on terms, price, and production time - Quality control during production process & before packaging - Import/Export process - Arrange all logistics processes until delivery

The job consisted on finding the adequate suppliers in China in order to minimize costs. Negotiated working on company's budget. Verified quality of samples & prototypes. Followed the production. Delivered in a timely manner. Ensured quality as required. Supervise all transactions, and all communication between the Chinese supplier and the French company.

Learned the theory and practice of quality control in accordance with the client’s specifications, on all different kinds of products, varying from the prime materials to the finished goods. Worked with the quality control team of the company, mainly Chinese.
