Wx has a software that measures the occupancy of spaces using presence, count and flow sensors. I joined a team of two Scala developers to help them migrate the application to Azure. This migration requires rewriting the application in a new way that would fit the Azure Databricks. A new project saw the lights in August 2021, it was about a platform that processes the sensor messages so to generate occupancy/utilization reports making it possible for clients to better organize/use their spaces.

Fnac/Darty is a French company specializing in the distribution of household appliances, electronics and cultural products. I joind a team of six java developers to help them develop new sets of features of the www.darty.com website.

Data plays a central role in banking – arguably more so than in any other industry. But data can go wrong for a host of reasons. A project called Data Certification saw the lights within Société Générale. Its main purpose is to look for abnormalities that might affect liquidity measures. The technologies behind it are making any deveolper's mouth water! We are working in a Big Data environment with Hadoop, Spark, Hbase...

Inside the Risk management department of Natixis, we are developing a new way for the Value At Risk calculation using new approaches and technologies: Scala, Big Data Ecosystem (Hadoop, Spark, Hive...), rules engine (Drools). I am also the ActivePivot developments leader; ActivePivot is a BI solution that lets business users pinpoint the root cause of an outlier and evaluate what-if scenarios before taking action, providing the confidence that they have taken all parameters and potential effects into account. Natixis chose ActivePivot for the FRTB implementation.
