Designed, implemented, and operated an automated, scalable cloud-native infrastructure for GraalVM applications, focused on high availability, performance, and maintainability: - Provisioned infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) using Terraform. - Built Ansible playbooks to automate server deployment, installation, and configuration across multiple environments. - Deployed, scaled, and maintained microservices on Kubernetes (OKE). - Implemented GitOps using FluxCD, Helm, and Kustomize to standardize and automate deployments. - Delivered reverse proxy and load-balancing layers with Traefik, Nginx, and HAProxy. - Centralized logging with Loki and unified visualization in Grafana to improve troubleshooting and traceability. - Administered Redis and Elasticsearch self-hosted on Kubernetes. - Developed serverless functions on OCI (Python) to automate workflows and integrate cloud services. - Wrote Bash/Python automation scripts for daily operational tasks. - Supported dev, infra, and data teams by enabling automation for production operations and workflows.

Improved and scaled the GraalVM release process by strengthening CI/CD infrastructure, automation, and distribution pipelines: - Used Terraform to provision OCI resources: OKE Kubernetes clusters, VM instances, and Object Storage buckets. - Developed Ansible playbooks to prepare GitLab execution environments (runners, tools, permissions, network configuration). - Integrated Kubernetes Cluster Autoscaler on OKE to dynamically scale nodes during high CI/CD load. - Built CI/CD pipelines to publish multiple artifact types (RPM, Docker images, Maven archives, tarballs) to several distribution channels: GitHub Releases, GHCR, GraalVM Download Service, Oracle Container Registry, Maven Central, and YUM repositories. Outcome: shifted the release cadence from quarterly to weekly, significantly improving delivery speed and availability of new versions.

As a DevOps Engineering Intern, I contributed to CI/CD enablement for cross-platform packaging by: - Building a proof of concept to build, test, and distribute Windows/macOS packages. - Applying the PoC to products such as GraalVM, GDK, and multiple internal tools. - Writing Ansible playbooks to automate runner installation and configuration. - Setting up GitLab Runners for Windows using Docker containers. - Setting up GitLab Runners for macOS using shell executor. - Integrating runners into GitLab CI/CD pipelines to support build, test, and deployment workflows. - Implementing cache and artifact strategies to speed up builds and share dependencies across jobs.
