Working on migrating an AdTech company from a OVH/LeaseWeb infrastructure to Google Cloud. The challenge was scalability : all the combined DataCenters are serving around 500 billions of requests a day (6M requests per second). tasks: • design, configuration and implementation of a decentralized monitoring stack with failover, long term storage, alerting and conditional on-call support • load balancing and public facing ingresses : configuration of HAProxy ingress, performance optimizations and static IPs on GKE • focus on developper experience : easily deploy apps (containers), Google Cloud resources (databases, pub/sub, object storage) and be able to seamlessly setup monitoring for those resources without any Ops needed • working within a squad of 4 people (2 product, 2 techs) in charge of monitoring and scalability
