– Cruiseline (Cruiseline.eu) is an Online Travel Agency specialized in Cruise sale and owns 60+ cruises reservation websites, such as croisieres.fr, crociere.com, cruceros.es or cruceros.com. – Consultant via the Avisto company. – Migrate legacy monolithic cruise reservation system to a modern architecture – Participated to preliminary analysis for capturing and challenging business and technical requirements – Initiated new system design with microservices architecture – Main areas of concern are: a single uniform system for operating all websites, move to Amazon AWS, redesigning object model to optimize product model and allow side products, event driven architecture, performance, resilience, generic and customizable UI. – Smooth and progressive migration from legacy to new system to avoid any interruption of service is paramount. – Work in progress!
