Bruno Dobrões

I have been managing the design process in a multitude of different projects in (fast-paced) client-based and in-house projects, from Blockchain, Web3, Gaming ,B2C IoT, Developer Tools, Marketplaces and digital security solutions. Responsible for the creation of design solutions, engaging directly with clients, from the gathering and assessment of project requirements to the creation of HF mockups and component libraries, with each project being unique in scope, features and goals. Also worked in the development of the internal SaaS developer Portal - API Suite - for its Beta release, and have been mentoring design interns that have joined the team.

I worked as the sole UX Designer at bet.pt. I was responsible for improving and analysing the whole user experience of all our digital products. While being part a design team, I collaborated closely with our developers, marketing and product teams. This ensures that all projects that I worked with, while user oriented, are also focused on the business requirements from the company’s stakeholders. My main tasks consisted of user research and data analysis, definition of specific problems for each project, ideation of solutions, creating wireframes and mockups to be tested through working prototypes and analysing pos-development data. I have also facilitated ideation workshops on our team, and helped in the creation of new processes that sought to improve the design team’s work and collaboration.

During my time as a UX Designer my work consisted in: user research through surveys, interviews, focus groups and desk research; creation of the personas based on previous findings; creation of app taskflows and user flows; creation of sketches and wireframes; prototyping and conceptualising new features for Ima Read's MVP.
