Purchasing Manager
janv. 1997 - mars 2001
4 ans 3 mois
Member of the core team who set up this new Department in the global Renault organization. The main target of this job was to convince the whole Renault departments to work together to achieve cost reductions in their outsourcing contracts. Manager of 12 buyers dealing with the highest part of services contracts worldwide (engineering, IT, Consulting, HR, temporary staff, market research, call centers, logistics). Turn-over = 600 million Euros. Our annual targets were between 3 and 10% cost reduction. To reach these goals, we carried out a specific strategy based on forecasting needs analysis, global market study, reduction of supplier’s accounts and recurrent requests for quotation. In April 2000, key member of a task force to set up a new department organization, became responsible to lead purchasing project managers (projects such as B2C, B2B, e-vehicle, CRM, Supply chain management, Media purchasing, as well as international motor shows and PET events).
