My main duties are driving the Development Bank of South Africa's digital marketing efforts across various initiatives. I handle Paid Media (Google Ads, META, X, and LinkedIn), Digital Strategy, SEO, Website Management, Campaign Management, and reporting.

My main duties were to oversee all Digital Marketing efforts for Hungry Lion South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Botswana, Angola, Lesotho, Vida e Cafe & Debonairs Angola. I handle Paid Media (META Ads, TikTok, X, LinkedIn & Search/Display), Digital Strategy, Campaign Management, Copywriting, Website Management, Campaign Budgeting & Reporting. I was in charge of budgets of R900 000 - R1 000 000 per month across our various digital touchpoints & also oversaw website management and updates for all the mentioned countries.

My duties at this start-up entailed multi-channel email & brand campaign executions, including content management & copywriting across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & WhatsApp to achieve set out website traffic KPI’s. I supported our channel efforts with daily & campaign paid media optimisation. Multi-channel executions involved driving website traffic from our Social Media channels and email database, which included Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and WhatsApp Business, to our dedicated news and entertainment websites. Our 15 websites, across 15 different countries in Africa, were a source of hot and entertaining celebrity news that leveraged off our multiple Social Media channels, which I also had the duty of optimising their paid media to achieve awareness and cost per click KPI's. I also strategised and reported, post-campaign, on various brands that benefited from our more than 250 000 sessions per day to drive Social Media awareness. These brands included The Sun Met, Life Grand Cafe, Love, The Sex Expo and Greenalls Gin. Paid Media budgets were limited to $50 - $100 per day depending on the number of page sessions on our websites, so as to maximise our cost per click daily.

Here, my duties were to develop & execute campaigns according to international brands, develop & implement content strategy, community management, live event coverage and post-campaign analysis reporting on Social Media. I had the liberty to work with Redbull South Africa on the Shaya iMoto campaign, various influencers including Nasty C and Nomzamo Mbatha to drive product awareness for Puma South Africa. I also worked on live event coverages for the FNB Run Your City series in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town, both participating and posting live from the events to drive awareness and brand recall. Budgets were handled by an external agency that was commissioned by the global Puma agency.
