Key Responsibilities: Designing, writing, and maintaining clear and comprehensive test cases and test plans based on product requirements, specifications, and design documents. Performing a wide range of testing types, including functional, non-functional, black box, exploratory, regression, smoke, and performance testing. Also using GitHub Actions to run the automated testes from Cypress and from test-hub. Conducting API testing (GraphQL) and validating backend behaviour, data integrity, and functionality using the AWS stack, including DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, SQS. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and manual/automation QA engineers to ensure alignment and coverage. Reviewing and approving pull requests, ensuring that automated and manual test scenarios align with implemented changes. Preparing and maintaining the test environment, and keeping clear documentation for all phases of the testing lifecycle. Key Projects and Initiatives: Nagra Watermarking Initiative – QA validation of security measures integrated into our media processing pipeline. Disaster Recovery Solution – Tested failover mechanisms and validated system reliability under failure scenarios. Descriptive Metadata Indexing – Focused on ElasticSearch and validating metadata visibility and search accuracy across media assets. Azure SSO Integration – Tested new SSO authentication via Azure, layered over existing Okta integration. File Service – End-to-end testing for media file handling services within the platform. CSV Import Improvements – Enhanced and validated CSV import features for titles and media items. **Object Metadata Initiative**– Deep testing of metadata logic, structure, and performance across large-scale object datasets. API Performance Suite – Developed a dedicated Postman suite to assess and monitor response times and performance metrics for key APIs and when performing Load Testing.
