Led the centralisation and scaling of global teams responsible for Accounting, Payroll, Payment Services, Sourcing & Procurement, and Corporate Travel across EMEA. Key achievements: Designed and institutionalised a centralised Finance Shared Services organisation to support King and, subsequently, Activision Blizzard’s European operations. Collaborated closely with strategy and change teams to support company-wide transformation programmes, ensuring initiatives were financially sustainable, cross-functionally aligned, and grounded in practical, scalable delivery models. Established and led a Finance Transformation PMO function, developing and mentoring a high-performing team to deliver complex change across finance and operations. Built a global Sourcing and Procurement function from the ground up, delivering over $12M in cost savings across three years. Developed a scalable, user-centric Corporate Travel programme, achieving 20% year-on-year savings while enhancing the employee experience. Acted as functional lead for the post-acquisition integration of Finance systems and processes from King to Activision Blizzard, including structural and role alignment. Created and embedded operational KPIs and reporting frameworks to improve accountability and visibility across shared services. Led the end-to-end planning and delivery of six large-scale, global company events. Oversaw the scoping and implementation of multiple employee-facing systems (e.g. Workday Financials, Concur, Oracle, Apex), ensuring smooth adoption and robust change management.

Led the organisational design and structural integration of Finance Operations, Procurement, and Travel functions following Microsoft’s acquisition of Skype. Responsible for shaping team structures, aligning roles, and embedding new operating models across global finance teams, while working closely with Microsoft’s central procurement team and outsourced providers. Key achievements: Directed the post-acquisition design and integration of finance and procurement teams, ensuring structure, scope, and reporting lines aligned with Microsoft’s broader operating model. Acted as a strategic partner on finance and operational matters across multiple functions, with a particular focus on compliance, third-party invoice management, Concur expense integration, and procurement and travel-card programmes. Led changes to the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) model, embedding harmonised processes and enhancing operational consistency across business units. Delivered transformation and change management initiatives to support team restructuring, system migrations, and process alignment. Accountable for the retention, development, and leadership of global Finance Operations, Procurement, and Travel teams during a period of significant change. Participated in system and data transformation projects, contributing to the development of business requirements, testing, implementation, and user training.

Managed the global finance operations for Skype including a transnational operations team, shared service providers and system support staff. Managed the transformation of key financial processes and systems including technical requirements, project planning, user acceptance testing, employee engagement and change management, and subsequent support, following the Microsoft acquisition of Skype.

Management of purchase to pay function within the insurance division of RBS including employee expense payments, corporate and purchasing card payments and reconciliations. Key Achievements • Full Oracle Financials upgrade implementation, roll out of e-procurement module and management of training and change. • Introduction of Lean methodologies to improve efficiencies and go paperless. Integrate various new businesses to new auto payment system and interface reconciliation feeds. • Designed and implemented successful management information reporting tool.
